Mona Abdelrehim

Dr. Mona Abdelrehim is a dental public health specialist and research associate at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. She graduated from the Faculty of Dentistry, Alexandria University, Egypt, in 2005, and obtained her master’s degree in operative dentistry in 2010 and her PhD in dental biomaterials in 2017. Her doctoral dissertation investigated the effects of blending antimicrobial nanoparticles on the mechanical, physical and chemical properties of dental composite resin. In 2022, she graduated from the Dental Public Health Specialty program at the University of Toronto. Her research investigated trends in cost barriers to dental care in Ontario over 15 years. Dr. Abdelrehim is an active member of the Canadian Association of Public Health Dentistry.
