Elis Batistella

Dr. Elis Angela Batistella is a dentist currently pursuing a postdoctoral fellowship in Periodontology, at the Faculty of Dentistry, University of Toronto. During her Ph.D., she focused on the study of oral diseases, with emphasis on oral cancer prognostic markers. Dr. Batistella has experience in clinical practice, teaching undergraduate students, and conducting dentistry-related research. She is currently focused on evaluating the changes in the oral microbiome and blood neutrophil counts across different time points of dental treatment.
