Chantel Ramraj

Dr. Chantel Ramraj received her PhD in Epidemiology at the Dalla Lana School of Public Health, University of Toronto in 2018. Her research focused on examining socioeconomic inequalities in birth outcomes in Canada and the United States using nationally representative survey data. Chantel also received an Honours Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from McMaster University and a Masters of Science degree in Dentistry from the University of Toronto. Recently, she completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the University of Chicago examining the relationship between sleep and physical activity in older adults. Chantel’s research interests are focused on the social determinants of health and health inequities
